Bank branch and PIN code information, made easier to find
IFSCora is an independent information directory designed to help people find Indian bank branch details, IFSC and MICR codes, and postal PIN code information in a clear and easy-to-use format.
What IFSCora helps you find
IFSCora brings together two useful types of public information while keeping them clearly separated. The banking directory helps you browse banks, states, cities and branches and view available IFSC, MICR, address and branch information. The PIN Code Directory helps you look up six-digit Indian PIN codes and view related post offices, districts, states or Union Territories and available postal details.
Why we built the directory this way
People usually arrive with a simple question: “What is this branch's IFSC code?” or “Which post office belongs to this PIN code?” Our goal is to answer those questions without making visitors work through unrelated pages. We organise information into clear page structures and provide search tools so users can move from a broad lookup to the specific branch or PIN page they need.
Our approach to data quality
We use structured data sources, validation rules and quality checks to make the directory useful. Banking and postal information can still change over time. Bank branches may open, close, relocate or update their details, and postal office names, delivery status or administrative boundaries may also change. For important use, current details should always be verified with the relevant bank, India Post or the appropriate official source.
PIN Code Directory
The PIN Code Directory is provided as a postal-information reference. It may include a PIN code, post office name, office type, delivery status, district, state or Union Territory and other available postal fields. A PIN page may contain more than one post office because a single six-digit PIN can serve multiple postal offices or areas.
Banking and postal data are separate
A postal PIN code does not identify a bank branch by itself, and an IFSC code is not a postal code. IFSCora keeps these datasets separate so that visitors can understand whether they are looking at bank information or postal information. Where we provide a tool that connects the two, such as finding bank branches by PIN, the result should be treated as a lookup aid rather than proof that every branch in an area uses that exact postal code.
Independent information service
IFSCora is not a bank, payment service, financial adviser, India Post, the Department of Posts, the Reserve Bank of India or another government authority. We are not affiliated with the banks, postal offices or organisations listed on the site unless a page explicitly states otherwise.
Before sending money, confirm the final IFSC, branch and beneficiary details with the recipient or relevant bank. Before relying on a PIN code for an important delivery or official address, confirm the latest postal details with India Post or the relevant post office.
